Dinner en Noir fundraiser – Saturday, October 19

Penn Wood Foundation and the Community Capital Campaign present a “Dinner en Noir” fundraising event on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Rap Curry Athletic Complex Kerr Field.

Tickets are $75 per person (or $750/table of 10). Tables, chairs, and tablecloths will be provided; food trucks will be on site or bring your own food and drink. Please bring your own utensils, dishes, and chair coverings if desired.

Attendees must dress in all black attire with sneakers or flats in order to protect the field. Rain date Friday, October 25. Sponsorships available.

About the Community Capital Campaign

This is a transformative time for the William Penn School District. We have implemented a bold Strategic Plan, Focus Forward 2025, and are investing in the well-being of our students by improving academic outcomes as well as attending to students’ emotional and physical health.

Our Strategic Plan includes a 10-Year Facilities Master Plan to make essential upgrades and renovations to school buildings and facilities. We are currently in the first phase of the project, which includes upgrades to school buildings and athletic facilities, including the reconstruction and reconfiguration of Kerr Field.

WPSD has a long legacy of incredible students; these upgrades will ensure that the next generation has what they need to reach their full potential — both in and out of the classroom.
